Updating Paediatric doctors About recent Topics and Events Through Simulation: UPDATES Simulation Course

This simulation course provides discussion of up to date issues in paediatrics for trainees who have taken time out of programme, particularly on parental leave and can be used as a keep in touch (KIT) day.
It is funded for paediatric trainees who are OOP in the West Midlands.
We aim to cover a variety of topics through a selection of online forums, including reflective discussion of a media article, a journal club and an opportunity to practice communication skills through simulation. Through keeping you up to date with recent changes in clinical practice, we aim to enable ease of transition back into training when you are due to return to work.
