West Midlands Paediatric Trainee Comittee

The West Midlands Paediatric Trainee Committee are a group of trainees who represent the views and opinions of West Midlands Paediatric postgraduate doctors in training.

What do we do?

Provide trainee advice and support to the HEE West Midlands school board of paediatrics
Participate and lead on relevant projects designed to improve the training experience
Keep PGDIT up-to-date with regional activities and information
Support PGDIT with queries or concerns they may have

Responds to ST5-8 queries, involved in organising careers events and workshops for higher trainees

Teaching Rep (Core)

Liaise with members of the school board for teaching and help coordinate regional teaching

Welfare Rep

Leads on welfare initiatives including recruitment/retention, exemption reporting and improving wellbeing of trainees
